Enhancing daily living skills

As individuals with developmental disabilities or other conditions that interfere with daily living move through adulthood, their specific needs change and evolve. Treatment goals should adapt accordingly to facilitate each individual meeting their own needs as independently as possible.

Services at this stage of life can vary greatly and may include adaptive and functional living skills development or other support that advances opportunities to participate more fully in all areas of life including home, school, work, relationships, leisure or other activities or interests. A variety of psychological services may also be appropriate.

If you think you need care for an adult in your life but aren’t sure where to begin, call us or Request a Consultation online. We’re here to help you identify appropriate services and assist you with next steps in the process.
